RETURN POLICY 

Your complete happiness is very important to us at the Bottlelegger. It is our goal to deliver your product quickly and in excellent condition.

If you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date at bottlelegger@gmail.com. We would appreciate the opportunity to solve the problem.

It is important to remember that your receipt or invoice will be required for any return or credit.

No returns will be accepted and no credits will be provided after 30 days of the ship date regardless of any other circumstance.

BOTTLES DAMAGED IN SHIPPING

In the event your order is damaged while being shipped to you please contact Bottlelegger. We may require you to return any unopened bottles to us for quality control information and will determine this once contacted. At our discretion we may offer a replacement, a discount, a refund or an account credit to be used for a later purchase.

NOT HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY/TASTE OF WINE RECEIVED

Wine sold is guaranteed to taste good, however there may be a bad bottle of wine. In the event you do experience a problem with the quality/taste of a bottle, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date and provide details of your problem along with your name, invoice number, and a phone number and time we can reach you. At our discretion we may offer a replacement, a discount, a refund or an account credit to be used for a later purchase less the original shipping and handling charges, and return shipping and handling charges.

SHIPPING POLICY 

Packages are generally sent within 1 to 3 days after receipt of payment. However, due to the sensitive nature of wine, we reserve the right to not ship or deliver over the weekend.

If need your wine by a certain deadline, please make us aware in the comments section during checkout so we can act accordingly.

Packages are shipped via UPS. Wine deliveries will require an adult signature over the age of 21. UPS will NOT leave your package on your porch or at your doorstep if no one is home. For this reason we highly recommend delivery to a business address. We cannot deliver to a PO Box.

Please provide an accurate shipping address to ensure prompt delivery.

Bottlelegger tries to remain flexible, however we cannot guarantee changes made to any order after it has been submitted. Once your order has shipped, we will contact you by email with a link to track your package online. It is important that you provide a valid email address if you wish to track your package. Please note, these tracking numbers will not be active until they are scanned by the driver. For example, if you have an order scheduled to ship on a Tuesday, we may box it on a Monday and send you the tracking info. However, the tracking info will not be valid until the driver picks it up on Tuesday.

If no one is home to receive the wine it may be held in a UPS facility that is not temperature-controlled. Bottlelegger cannot guarantee the condition of the wine if it is not received the first time UPS delivers. 

If any package is returned to us for any reason after three delivery attempts, the customer is still responsible for delivery charges, and we will charge shipping costs again if a re-shipment is requested.

The total cost of shipping includes handling fees as well as shipping costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas shipping fees vary according to total weight of the shipment and the distance traveled. 

We do everything possible on our end to protect our wine shipments from temperature-related damage. However, we are not responsible for any damage that may result due to weather conditions, so please be certain that it’s suitable to ship to your address, weather-wise.

BOTTLELEGGER SHIPPING TIPS

We highly recommend using a daytime business/office address to ensure prompt receipt of your package. Packages containing alcohol will not be left if no one is present to receive the package. Furthermore, the package must be signed for by a person over 21 years of age.

If you do choose to have your wine delivered to a residential address, we recommend that you subscribe to the free UPS My Choice service.

TITLE & OWNERSHIP

Title to and ownership of all wine passes from Bottlelegger.com to the purchaser in the State of Virginia and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping of it from Virginia to his/her residence. By arranging for transportation of the wine, Bottlelegger.com is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from Bottlelegger.com, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.
